Huba Control Differential Pressure Switch
Model: Type 604
Part Number: 604.9010000
1. General Description
The Huba Control Type 604 is a differential pressure switch designed for monitoring overpressure, underpressure (vacuum), and differential pressure of air and other non-aggressive gases. It is commonly used in HVAC, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to monitor air filters, fans, and airflow status.
This device operates as a simple mechanical switch. When the measured pressure difference reaches the user-adjusted setpoint, an internal SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) micro-switch is actuated, providing a simple on/off signal for a control system, fan, or indicator light.
Key Features 🎯
-
For Air & Non-Aggressive Gases: Designed specifically for HVAC and pneumatic applications.
-
Adjustable Setpoint: The switching pressure is user-adjustable via a dial, in this case, from 20 to 300 Pa.
-
High Reliability: Simple, robust mechanical design ensures a long service life.
-
SPDT Switch: Provides a changeover contact (Normally Open and Normally Closed) for flexible wiring.
-
High Overpressure Protection: Can withstand a maximum pressure of 5000 Pa (50 mbar).

3. Wiring (Standard SPDT)
This switch provides a changeover contact with three terminals.
-
Pin 1 (COM): Common (Input)
-
Pin 2 (NC): Normally Closed (Closed when pressure is below setpoint)
-
Pin 3 (NO): Normally Open (Open when pressure is below setpoint)
Operation:
-
When the pressure is low (OFF state), the circuit between Pin 1 (COM) and Pin 2 (NC) is closed.
-
When the pressure rises and reaches the setpoint, the switch actuates. The circuit between Pin 1 (COM) and Pin 2 (NC) opens, and the circuit between Pin 1 (COM) and Pin 3 (NO) closes.
