SIEMENS BERO Inductive Proximity Sensor

BERO Type: DC – npn

Model: 3RG4624-0GB02

1. General Description

The Siemens 3RG4624-0GB02 is a rectangular-style inductive proximity sensor from the BERO family. It is designed for the non-contact detection of metallic objects in industrial automation applications.

This model is a non-flush mountable (unshielded) sensor, which provides an exceptionally long sensing distance of 40 mm. It operates on a standard DC supply and provides an NPN Normally Open (NO) output.

Key Features 🎯

  • Long Sensing Range: Sn = 40 mm

  • Non-Flush Mounting: Unshielded design for maximum sensing distance.

  • Standard NPN Output: Provides a 3-wire, NPN Normally Open (sinking) output.

  • Wide Voltage Range: Operates on any DC voltage from 10 to 30 V.

  • Robust Housing: Durable rectangular housing for secure mounting.
