## Functionality
The FS-V31P amplifier works by sending a beam of light through a fiber optic cable. The sensing head at the end of the cable (which can be a through-beam or reflective type) detects the presence or absence of an object. The amplifier then compares the amount of light received back to a user-set threshold. If the light level crosses the threshold, the PNP output is activated.
