## Wiring

The color code for the integrated cable is printed on the label and is as follows:

  • Brown: +V (Connect to 12 – 24 V DC)
  • Blue: 0V (Connect to Ground)
  • Black: Output (PNP signal)
  • White: External Input (Used for remote teaching/calibration)

## Functionality

The FS-V31P amplifier sends a beam of light through a fiber optic cable. The sensing head at the end of the cable (which can be a through-beam or reflective type) interacts with a target object. The amplifier then measures the amount of light received back and compares it to a user-set threshold. If the light level crosses the threshold, the PNP output is activated.

Its dual digital display makes setup very intuitive, as users can see the exact light intensity and adjust the trigger point precisely. This makes it ideal for high-speed or small-part detection in applications like packaging, electronics assembly, and industrial automation.
