1. General Description

 

This is a rectangular, magnetic-inductive sensor designed for detecting piston positions in pneumatic cylinders. Its “Permaprox” technology makes it immune to AC weld fields (50-60 Hz), preventing false switching during welding operations. The sensor features a 3-wire DC, Normally Open (NO) PNP output and connects via an M12x1 male connector.

• Pin 1: + (Brown Wire): Connect to + 10…30 VDC
• Pin 3: - (Blue Wire): Connect to Ground (GND)
• Pin 4: Output (Black Wire): PNP Switched Output
