4. Operation
- Default State (No Power): The valve is held CLOSED by the internal spring in the actuator.
- To Open: A 24V DC signal is sent to the NASS solenoid valve. This opens the pilot valve, allowing compressed air to flow into the actuator, which overcomes the spring and OPENS the ball valve.
- To Close: The 24V DC signal is removed. The solenoid valve closes, venting the air from the actuator. The internal spring immediately forces the ball valve CLOSED.
